Bielsa leaving can be softened by one factor at Leeds this summer

|

The season is over for Leeds United and now we need to start thinking about how we are going to improve the side for next campaign.

Of course, it’s hard to accept such a fate so quickly given how the play-offs went but, at the end of the day, we are going to have to move on from that now.

New signings will help, then, but until we learn the fate of Marcelo Bielsa many of us will be going around with our breath held.

There is one way we can keep Bielsa’s work going even if he leaves the club, though, and that is by appointing Carlos Corberan.

None of us want the Argentine to leave in truth but if he does Corberan knows how to play in his style – or close to it – and knows the club and the players, especially the young ones well.

Going for a big name needn’t follow Bielsa, someone that can carry on his work should be the port of call.
