Following the hugely disappointing defeat to Queens Park Rangers in our midweek Championship action, there’s no time to dwell on the loss and our failure to take the opportunity to return to top spot in the second tier table, as a quick turnaround on Friday evening sees us face fellow promotion hopefuls West Bromwich Albion.
On Thursday afternoon, manager Marcelo Bielsa conducted his usual pre-game press conference and as well as discussing the relative strengths of head coach Darren Moore’s fourth placed side, he also had plenty of praise for the fans.
As is now usual, he continued the practice of revealing his starting XI well ahead of time.

Reacting to the announcement, fans were the usual mixed bunch now with some still loving it, others feeling it continued to give the opposition a slight advantage.
With Tuesday evening’s failure to take the points, the challenge is certainly there for the same group to make up for it though and do far better in giving the fans something to smile about again.
