The Whites did us proud last night as we bounced back from a tough rut against Ipswich Town with a fine 2-0 win.

The men from Elland Road were starting to attract a few critics but I think we always knew that we were going to be good enough to get back to winning ways.

So it proved, too, with a 2-0 scoreline coming about from the match.

One blow, though, was Gaetano Berardi having to come off within the first half an hour after an awkward fall.

It remains to be seen the extent of the injury but, clearly, it doesn’t sound as bad as it perhaps could have been.

Marcelo Bielsa revealed – as quoted by Leeds Live – all about his knock:

“It’s a muscular injury due to incoordination movement. He fell in an uncoordinated way and provoked an important tension on the muscle.”

Berardi has only just come back from a longer problem and so hopefully this one won’t take as long.

He’s started well this season and having him available is something we obviously want.
