Whether Yosuke Ideguchi is going to stay at the club or not this season really seems up for debate at the moment and things certainly seem uncertain – if that makes sense…
The Japanese midfielder arrived with a fairly decent reputation and many of us were actually excited that he might bring some energy and quality to the middle of the park.
However, he has been bandied about to Cultural Leonesa and back and it looks as though his imminent Leeds future remains shrouded by the unknown.
A decision will be made by the end of the loan window, though, with Marcelo Bielsa’s latest update as such – via Leeds Live:
“We haven’t made a decision yet. By the end of August the club will take the best decision for the player.”
Clearly, he is not in the manager’s plans right now and in the coming weeks, I am not too sure whether that is actually going to change.
It’s a shame for the player, but at least our manager is being honest which is the least he deserves.
