With news this week that Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas had been added to the out-patient list at Leeds United, a number of fans had made their own suggestions as to who should come in on the right side of the defence to help shore us up against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Dallas constantly receives mixed reactions for his performances in that position anyway as he covers Luke Ayling and in his pre-game press conference this week, manager Marcelo Bielsa explained who had come into his thoughts for the Elland Road clash and plenty will be pleased with his answer.
Bielsa speaking now. On injuries: "I'm sure I've done something wrong because God is punishing me!" Jamie Shackleton will replace Stuart Dallas at right-back, he says. "This is thanks to the work the academy did for the first team." #lufc

19-year-old Jamie Shackleton will be given another opportunity to impress this weekend as he takes the right-back position once again.
The Academy graduate has already made nine appearances for Bielsa so far in the campaign of 2018/19 but all but three of those have been as a substitute so it’ll be interesting to see how the young talent gets on in his second Championship start.
