The winning start to the season continued last night as we beat Bolton Wanderers rather comfortably in the end 2-1 with a changed side.

Though some key players stayed in the team like Kalvin Phillips and Samuel Saiz, we also got to see others feature and many of them looked good.

Certainly, it seems as though the whole squad has bought into Bielsa’s approach so far and I get the feeling that the rotation might just start to happen in the near future.

Perhaps not against Rotherham but as the games begin to pile up now, the Argentinian has clearly been impressed with those that haven’t featured much.

He said via the Yorkshire Post:

“Even if the starters were new ones, they respected the style of the team.

“The performance of the team was balanced, was regular, and if needed the players could also play on Saturday.”

Certainly, with the way our squad is there will need to be significant rotation in the coming weeks and months to ensure we keep the tempo we’ve shown so far at the same level.

Let’s see what occurs in the games to come.
