Social media has certainly been a lively place following Leeds United’s defeat to Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.

Having travelled to Ewood Park for the Championship clash, Leeds found themselves behind two minutes into the game and although Mats Klich had us back on level terms ahead of the halftime break, the hosts added the second to secure all three points on the day and it was a very below par performance from the side that simply magnified a number of the issues we have had since being hit with our numerous injuries.

Whilst manager Marcelo Bielsa could welcome back some players for the game as they search for fitness and sharpness now, we did lose Barry Douglas to a knock and Luke Ayling to suspension and Bielsa opted to use Stuart Dallas at right-back with Gaetano Berardi at left-back.

He admitted it was a mistake post-game and that he should’ve reversed the roles, but when it came to Dallas some fans had their own thoughts on his selection full stop.

Dallas does split the fanbase but following the result, there was a worrying trend questioning Bielsa and whilst nobody should be above criticism, I’m hoping it was more in the moment frustration as that kind of split is the last thing we need given our season is massively alive and I see no reason for doom and gloom at this stage.
