It’s that time of year again.
You may have forgotten, what with it being the start of the season and Leeds getting off to a fantastic start, but the first international break of the season is just around the corner. It’s the time of year that fans for some reason seem to hate as club football, in the top two divisions anyway comes to a grinding halt. Although we seem to let that slide when the World Cup is on, strange that.
Over the coming days expect to see a few announcements of which Leeds United players have been lucky enough to be selected by their national side. The first man is Mateusz Boguz who has been called up to the Poland U21 side as they face Latvia and Estonia in European U21 Championship Qualifiers.
Bogusz has been on Leeds fans radars for some time now, after his nice finish in the pre-season win over Western Sydney Warriors and he raised eyebrows further yesterday with his free-kick in the U23’s win over Millwall.
So when the news came out that the 17-year-old had made the cut for his country, these Leeds fans took to Twitter to congratulate him.
I bet he has, some player this boy, mot
