Jermaine Beckford will be suspended for Saturday’s League One fixture against struggling Crewe Alexandra.

The early team-news points out that Beckford was set to miss out on the Doncaster game, however due to it’s postponement the Leeds striker will not face a side that his single goal was enough to overcome.

Beckford rose above a woeful attempt by Alex keeper Ben Williams’ to claim the ball, nodding home the only goal in the 1-0 victory over Crewe at Gresty Road in January.

Following the game, Beckford was quizzed about his whereabouts come transfer deadline day to which he responded ‘What shirt am I wearing bruv.’

Andy Hughes is unlikely to recover in time for the game, which may see the opposition name a number of youngsters in their team to cover for injuries.
