Leeds United continue to fly high in the Championship but Marcelo Bielsa’s side fell at the first hurdle of the FA Cup at the weekend, losing to QPR at Loftus Road.
While the result will not affect the Peacocks too much considering their focus lies solely on securing a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2004, certain aspects of the performance left a lot to be desired.
Bielsa has improved the side significantly with his guidance but questions are starting to be asked of the loan deals agreed with Chelsea back in the summer, with Jamal Blackman returning to west London prematurely after breaking his leg and Izzy Brown still awaiting his debut.
Meanwhile, Lewis Baker has been unable to shine in the opportunities he has earned with the first team and his latest display against QPR in the FA Cup third round left a lot to be desired – with many fans taking to social media after the game to criticise his display.
