With a nine goal thriller against Birmingham City behind us, Leeds United were looking to take advantage over West Bromwich Albion when it came to the Championship title race earlier today.
Making the trip to The Hawthorns with the sides now tied on points in top spot, the game itself wasn’t going to decide anything in 2019/20, but it would hand one side a significant advantage in 2020.
It wasn’t a great start from manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side as West Brom had the lead two minutes in, but our efforts received the right reward seven minutes after the half time break as Semi Ajayi was given the own goal to draw us level.
With having our customary possession, West Brom did have the better chances so a point apiece was probably a fair result on balance given the way the match changed at the break.
