“Arrogance Of Entitlement” “Idiotic Comment” – These Leeds Fans Aren’t Happy With 18 y/o’s Reveal

The permanent departure of young Leeds United Academy talent Jack Clarke to Tottenham Hotspur was a disappointment for many fans.

These Leeds Fans See The Funny Side Of This Man’s Swift Departure & Arrival

The 18-year-old has returned for the coming 2019/20 Championship campaign and he’s one of the players who remain at the training ground to work on his fitness with the rest of the group out in Australia for our mini tour Down Under.

Clarke did a few interview runs last week with the media where he talked about the disappointments of last season, his desire for more game time and how he knew he’d have to step up this year because he was no longer an unknown quality and he admitted the loan back to Elland Road was perfect so hopefully he could depart having played his part in returning us to the Premier League as he’d achieve a ‘childhood dream’ if he could do that.

In the chat, he also commented to the Yorkshire Evening Post:

“Obviously there was always a plan to move on from Leeds eventually but I’d have much preferred it if we’d have gone up last year.”

That certainly caught people’s attention and whilst it was certainly idiotic as it’s just not something you say, the harsher reactions to the words that came in seem over the top. Loyalty is a rare commodity in the modern game with the riches available and like it or not, if a player believes they can reach the top, until Leeds are back there and challenging, we shouldn’t really expect anything else.
