“EDDDIIEEE”- A lot of Leeds United fans are thrilled to hear that Patrick Bamford could miss Saturday’s match with QPR potentially handing Eddie Nketiah his first Championship start.
Of course, this is Marcelo Bielsa, though, so do not be surprised to see Tyler Roberts starting up front instead!
The Argentine confirmed in his press conference that Bamford has suffered a knock and could miss the match.
This might give Nketiah his chance to shine.
The on-loan Arsenal man has scored five goals for the Whites and has asked Bielsa to start – a lot of Leeds fans have also demanded that the 20-year-old get his chance.
In other news, Pablo Hernandez and Liam Cooper are both fully fit and ready to help Leeds gain promotion.
See the best of the reaction below.
Injury latest from Bielsa – Pablo Hernandez is available but Patrick Bamford has an ankle problem. Alioski (side) and Douglas (knee) are doubts as well. Forshaw is still out. #lufc
