Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa held his usual pre-game press conference earlier today ahead of Saturday’s later kickoff against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
With Leeds returning to the top of the Championship pile and West Brom’s form slipping, it could be an interesting encounter and another three points would help pull us ahead of the chasing pack a little bit more.
Bielsa’s press conferences are certainly different from the norm, fans have seen that previously and today was no different as he discussed the importance of playing attractive football and entertaining the fans.
His words moved from stating that good football not only breeds good results, but for owners it breeds further profit as simply put if sides are good to watch, it helps put more bums on seats – but he also had a warning that he placed at the feet of those in ‘power’ and in doing so, he made a far wider point.
Bielsa up now. Talking about providing an entertaining style of football: "When a team doesn't get what it deserves, sooner or later the fans punish the lack of results. The lack of tolerance regarding results is stronger than the lack of tolerance when style is not beautiful."

"But people who invest in football should take precautions because when a team plays bad, you have less fans who want to watch them. A coach like Guardiola, he plays well and wins and he increases the value of the club where he works and the players he has."

"The fact that we are not taking care of the planet, our children will pay the consequences. With football it will be the same because we're destroying football and in the future we'll see the negative effects. Those who have power are responsible for it."

A very understated way of making a massively important point in my humble. The comment about taking care of the planet was also valid and a fair few on social media seemed to agree.
Bit different to Steve Evans or Neil warnock pressers aren’t they pic.twitter.com/sI0HDJcJZw
