A lot of players are leaving at the moment with plenty more going in the last couple of days in one capacity or another.

Some are on loan, some are released and some are sold with the squad looking that bit more trimmed down – as Bielsa wanted.

Indeed, Jay-Roy Grot is one of those to use the increasingly swaying exit door with him securing a loan to VVV Venlo.

That said, then, are we making room for Matej Vydra to come in?

Certainly, we didn’t have many strikers anyway at the start of the summer with Pierre-Michel Lasogga going but now Grot is off, too, there seems even more room for the Czech to come in.

Perhaps I am clutching at straws a bit here but Vydra is heavily linked, Leeds are obviously interested and this deal suggests that there is room for him.

Hopefully, we’ll start seeing some incomings soon.
