Marcelo Bielsa certainly hasn’t been afraid to ring the changes this summer with a number of players leaving so far.

Senior players and young players have left the club with him trimming things down at Thorp Arch and that has continued with young forward Ousama Siddiki leaving the club.

Not a massive exit, of course, with him perhaps not good enough to break into our first team but, nevertheless, it represents another exit from the team.

Indeed, his new side UD Logrones have confirmed the move:

Personally, it’s a deal that isn’t the most groundbreaking and it won’t impact our plans this season.

To be honest, in the nicest possible way, too, I have the feeling that in five years’ time we won’t be thinking if only Siddiki had stayed at the club.

That said, I still wish him well and hope he can forge some sort of career for himself now he has moved on.
