Another Leeds Player Departs

Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet must be beginning to wonder if they will have to re-register themselves as players after yet another Leeds player left the club this afternoon.

The official site have just broken the news that Robbie Blake is the next person out of Elland Road, joining old club Burnley in a deal surprisingly worth over £600,000 depending on all sorts of things. Blake scored 20 goals in 87 appearances for The Whites and the strikers` last goal was the opener in the friendly against Shelbourne United last Saturday.

Whilst it`s not looking good that players continue to leave, these squad members can be replaced under Football League rules, and the fee commanded from Burnley is encouraging to see that we are not being taken for a ride due to our financial state.
