Well it was fairly obvious; the man who kept Leeds United well and truly in the playoff final early on wins the Vital Footy man of the match award.

Well it was fairly obvious, the man who kept Leeds United well and truly in the playoff final early on wins the Vital Footy man of the match award.

Casper Ankergren’s saves on Sunday were on par with any goalkeeper, and his 1 v 1 performances were not done justice by the remaining 1- players in the 1-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers.

The Danish keeper pulled in a whopping 88% of the vote. Joint second with a measly 3% were wonder-kid-to-be Jonny Howson and for some strange reason Tresor Kandol, the latter perhaps a protest vote.

In terms of the rest of them at 2% and 1% they really weren’t worth mentioning.

Next up is a simple question, if the price was right, would you let Jermaine Beckford leave?
