In a time where there are a lot of votes going on in the House of Commons, I think this is one vote that we can all agree the people got right.
Ben White has been named the PFA Fan’s Player of the Month for August, amassing 44% of the vote. The 21-year-old was signed on a season-long loan from Brighton in the summer and has stepped into the team incredibly well, taking to the ‘Bielsaball’ mantra with impeccable ease.
Needless to say then that Leeds fans were over the moon when they saw the news come through, as they rushed to Twitter to congratulate the young man on his achievements. Hopefully we’ll be doing a lot more of it as the season carries on.

I’ve spoken before about how important Ben White has been to the Leeds United setup, and how they need to do everything they can to try and broker a deal between them and Brighton in the summer to secure his services permanently.
However, with this accolade, I think those negotiations just became a little bit harder.
