“The new Woodgate” – A lot of Leeds United fans are delighted with the displays of Ben White this season, and they have quickly forgotten about the sale of Pontus Jansson.
Pontus left Leeds under challenging circumstances after Marcelo Bielsa had decided he had enough of the big Swede’s histrionics.
White was brought in on a season-long loan, and he has become the best defender in the league for many Whites fans.

The 22-year-old has played a crucial role in the tightest defence in the league, having only conceded nine goals in 16 matches, and he has impressed journalists up and down the country for the whole season.
Certainly, these Leeds fans think that he is their best defender since Jonathan Woodgate.

Pity it’s a loan but what great player he is becoming. Will go on to be a super PL player probably at better clubs than Brighton.
