Wit the Leeds United headlines being taken up by the incoming news of Patrick Bamford from Middlesbrough, there was an Elland Road departure yesterday and it came in the shape of Hadi Sacko.
???? | #LUFC wish Hadi Sacko good luck as he joins La Liga 2 side @UDLP_Oficial on a season-long loan
— Leeds United (@LUFC) July 31, 2018
The 24-year-old moved to Leeds from Sporting initially on a loan deal in the 2016/17 campaign and we made the deal permanent last summer. He has now completed a season-long loan move out to Spanish La Liga 2 side Las Palmas.
In his loan season with us he made 42 appearances across the campaign with a return of two goals, but last season he only made three starts, with a further 15 showings from the bench.
The club haven’t confirmed whether or not there is a buy clause in place for the winger come next summer.
Reacting to the news, most Leeds fans were happy to wish him well for the future and they hoped the spell would be a success for him and then we’d either get a better fee or maybe see a more rounded player return.
All the best @miimosaa ????
