Alan Thompson Signs For Leeds

As Gus Poyet predicted previously, former Celtic midfielder Alan Thompson has signed for Leeds until the end of the season.

The contract has been announced as an ‘initial’ term so hopefully he will like the look of the club and hang around a bit!

The England International middle man (well I say international, he played once!) is sure to bring an added fight in the middle of the park, and he’s certainly not shot shy, scoring 37 goals in 158 games for Celtic. Thompson becomes the sixth signing during the January transfer window. We aren’t half moving fast; hopefully this isn’t the last of it!
