Despite the March international break being in full flow and real news being a little thin on the ground, I chose the wrong week to go a little bit light on the site as versatile Leeds United player Stuart Dallas has come out with both guns blazing.

Having given an interview to the BBC in the build-up to last night’s Northern Ireland clash with Estonia, where he spoke about feeling fitter than ever following his injury in December, some outlet’s chose to focus specifically on his comments about a lack of game time recently under manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Certainly, for headline purposes, the implication skewed what he had actually said.

Since returning to fitness at the end of February, 27-year-old Dallas has only appeared six times as a substitute and he understandably made a comment that it was disappointing as he wants to play like all players, but it’s not overly an issue because that’s football.

With one headline, in particular, when it coming to his attention, he was quick to give his thoughts on it on Wednesday night.

Having got right to the point on his thoughts, as you’d expect, Leeds United fans were quick to back him up on social media.
