It`s been a long-time coming but it looks as though the Whites are finally going to get round to offering Pablo Hernandez a deal.
The Spaniard has been a class act since arriving with him bringing some great technical ability and plenty of experience to our midfield.
We know he`s not the most physical player but he is an example that a number of our stars could follow and so hopefully they`ll be able to do that in close proximity from next season onwards.
Discussions are underway, then, and so let`s take a look at the best of what has been said on Twitter.

Keen to keep Pablo…..BUT, we must have a big clearout or all our little, physically-weak players…..need BIG players around for Pablo to shine

Thank god for that! Give him 16k a week…i dare you!

So he is sticking with PH. Iam not convinced this will work out well. #lufc

He needs to stay & eventually join the coaching staff, even if it`s only as specialist nutmeg coach.

I do like Pablo but realistically, If we’re going to be serious about promotion I’d only use him as a rotation/impact sub. Not fit enough to play week in week out at the age of 32 (33 next month)
Good player to have on the bench though and can play in a number of positions.

Can we give him O Kane’s contract and then he can go in June.

Discuss? Sign him up!

We`ve taken our time to get this one sorted, then, but it looks as though we`re on the right path now and that will be at least one good thing to come out of this year if nothing else.
