Leeds United’s Under 23 side kept their fantastic season going at Elland Road on Monday evening, as we booked our place in the Professional Development League National Cup Final.
Having run away with the north section title to claim first place under the charge of Carlos Corberan, with a good few games to spare, we even made it as far as the Premier League Cup semi-final, but sadly that went against us as we faced Newcastle United the other week.

Monday evening saw the game go into extra time as Coventry City’s next generation levelled twice following goals from Robbie Gotts and Ryan Edmondson (made it 19 for the campaign at this level), but Kun Temenuzhkov hit the decisive winner as the game came to a close to send victory our way with an effort from outside of the box.
Magical moment tonight at Elland Road.

Fans following on the social media feed of the game, were rightly delighted by his efforts once again as the 19-year-old really does look like another prospect for us.
