A Return To Winning Ways Sees Leeds Return To The Top Of The Championship Table

|

Leeds United returned to the top of the Championship table following last night’s 1-0 victory over Hull City.

Heading to the KCOM Stadium to face off against Nigel Adkins’ side, after a goalless first half Leeds got their reward shortly after the halftime restart as Tyler Roberts bagged the winner as he picked up his third goal of the campaign.

By rights, the margin of victory probably should’ve been more comfortable but we saw out a late surge from them to ensure we travelled home with all three points.

Following the defeat to Birmingham City and then the draw against Sheffield Wednesday, what mattered was the win though and with the injury issues we have at the top of the pitch, hopefully, these three points given everyone a confidence shot again and we’ll start showing a little bit more composure in the coming games when chances come our way.

There were plenty of positives from the performance, but with the goal coming from our only shot on target that needs significant improvement.
