Leeds United climbed to second spot in the Championship last night with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Reading at Elland Road.
The Peacocks had slipped to third position prior to the international break after suffering defeat at the hands of West Brom but victories over Bristol City and the Royals have provided Marcelo Bielsa’s side with a strong platform to build upon.
With positive vibes now flowing around the Yorkshire side once again, plenty of fans took to social media after the match to praise their key performers from the game and young talent Jack Clarke earned a lot of plaudits.
The 18-year-old has featured in four league matches for the Peacocks this season and is starting to make an impact in the first-team frame, with supporters getting excited about the latest talent to rise through their prestigious academy.
We have gathered some of the reactions to his latest performance below.
Young Clarke is a quiet Revolution in the team. A fearless dribbling play maker #LUFC #mot

We’ve had more out of Jack Clarke in these first 15 mins than we’ve seen from Alioski in the last 5 games. #lufc

Very impressed with Jack Clarke last night. Only turned 18 last week, and a product of Leeds' academy. Caused all sorts of problems for Reading when he came on with his dribbling and quick feet. #LUFC

Alioski needs to be sat in solitary and made to watch his dive 500 times. Just embarrassing. Clarke definitely should be in Saturday #lufc

What we learned last night:
– Clarke should start over Alioski
– Saiz deserves a return to the starting XI
– BPF thrives on pressure
– Baker still hasn't proven why he's here#LUFC— Total Leedsball (@TotalLeedsball) November 28, 2018

#lufc the young boy Clarke looks a sure talent for the future , class when on the ball reminds me of a young Eddie Gray when he got his chance.
