A permanent deal at Leeds United?

To be honest, I read a lot of what Radrizzani and Orta had to say yesterday in their Q&A session with fans and found that they didn`t actually give many answers.

Though they didn`t just bat questions away, they gave responses that didn`t exactly provide much insight, and instead I found myself feeling that there`s a lot still up in the air – particularly in terms of player contracts.

For me, then, there`s still a lot of work for them to do in that area but there was one positive from it if you, like me, are a fan of Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

I know the big forward has come in for some grief this season but I like his style and, in recent games, he has looked a hell of a lot more confident and settled in the side. He`s made good noises about enjoying his time in the city now and that`s been reflected on the pitch.

That`s why, then, when Victor said that it`s a possibility that we can make his loan deal a permanent one, as quoted by Leeds Live, I had a smile on my face.

Typically for the whole conversation, Orta wasn`t drawn too much into saying whether we`d give the Hamburg loanee a longer shot at the club, but he did seem impressed with what PML has done:

“He`s established now, he knows the league and is playing with confidence. It`s difficult with the situation with Hamburg.’

“They are fighting for relegation, but he`s very happy in Leeds. It can be a possibility.”

Clearly, Orta is willing to make the deal try and happen if Hecky sees fit and I for one would back that. He`s got one of the best minutes to goals ratios in the league, looks much more at home as our leading striker – which is tough with our club`s heritage – and is linking up better with those around him.

I`d like to see him sign permanently, but would you?
