I know it’s been a naff season to say the least and one a lot of us will want to forget as soon as the final whistle is blown in the final day but there is some positives to take from it – no really.
On the pitch matters, are what we are all concerned with most of all and they have done their very best to knock us down and wind us up.
For sure, we need to improve the playing staff as much as possible in the summer because, otherwise, we’re going to endure another season like this next year I fear.
However, off the field Andrea Radrizzani deserves some credit. I know in recent weeks he’s gone a bit mad on social media but that’s only because he cares and I do think that he does have our best intentions at heart with what he’s trying to do.
That said, then, it looks as though we’re financially that bit more sound now than we were not too long ago thanks to his work:
One notable point in the accounts is that half of the GFH debt (almost £17m in 2016) was paid off by Radrizzani in the 2016-17 year. The remainder is being re-evaluated. #lufc

first-team wages to turnover ratio for 2016-17 was 47 per cent, which is pretty low by the standards of the top end of the Championship. Wage bill has jumped by £7m-£8m this season.

Some good news, then, so let’s take a look at what has been said about that on Twitter:
Remind me again of how Radz is ruining this club.

The fact he paid that off without even announcing it shows his intent on a long term plan to stabilise this club.
Unfortunately we can’t see past the football at the moment.— Adam Haywood (@DonVito_84) April 4, 2018
Yeah, but y’all keep tweeting him because you’re mad that Ekuban keeps missing sitters…

Is it true Radz wants out?

these are the foundations we needed, no point building a house on sand, I think AR has got it right – it is frustrating as a fan to see side suffer but it is a necessity (i think) – hopefully once the business side of club is health the team can be improved…

Rad has done helluva lot for this club already. Some fans just cant realise it.
