It was one of those ‘just like the good old days’ moments.
When I first saw it, I knew that it was going to get a lot of attention on social media, but I didn’t quite expect it to get to this level. I’m talking of course about Kalvin Phillip’s tackle on Sunday against Barnsley. You know the one I’m talking about, but if you don’t, here it is.

It was almost as if he wanted to celebrate the new contract he got last week with a ‘this is why I got that deal’ sort of moment. Something to tell the Leeds fans, and the rest of the country exactly what he’s being paid for.
And it certainly got Leeds fans excited as when the club posted a video of it on Twitter, they couldn’t contain themselves with just how much they enjoyed it.
"Kalvin, let him know you're there."

England call up not far away, anyone who can’t see this is seriously not well

And the faux outrage from fans from a tough mining town who don’t like a tackle. Game’s gone.

In fact there were a couple of people who likened it to one of Leeds’ greatest ever players Norman ‘Bite Your Legs’ Hunter.

Now whilst that may be a stretch too far at this stage, who knows, if he stays around long enough, he might just get to that level.
