£9m, 8 goals, 6 assists: A summer Leeds signing we could all get behind

|

There is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks at Leeds United and that can be said for both on and off field matters.

On the pitch, of course, the Whites have plenty to play for with a return to the Premier League whilst, at the same time, the men from Elland Road should also be looking at transfers.

And, that in mind, I think it could be wise to take a serious look at Oliver Burke from West Brom.

Currently on loan at Celtic, the winger has been in good form for them since arriving on loan but it remains to be seen whether they, and West Brom, actually want him.

Indeed, Crystal Palace are looking at him at the moment according to the Daily Mail and so if we are in the Premier League we should have a chance of getting him.

It is clear that we need a pacey, direct winger to come into our side and, if we cannot get Dan James, Burke is a fine option to consider.

He has eight goals and six assists in all competitions this campaign which is far from poor whilst he is valued at £9m by transfermarkt, so he wouldn’t break the bank – particularly if we went up.

There’s real potential there, and it’s one I’d like to see Leeds go after.
