Leeds United’s impressive return to the Premier League continues on Friday evening as we made the trip to Villa Park to face Aston Villa.
We were totally on top in reality, although the hosts more than had their moments in the game and could’ve made life difficult for ourselves but after a scoreless first half, the second half turned into the Patrick Bamford show.
Finding the net in minutes 55, 67 and 74, well it moved us up into third place in the top flight table ahead of this weekend’s fixture, and another three points were definitely welcomed by all.
Statistics website Whoscored recognised our dominating performance and more than edged the player ratings our way, but expectedly, their star man award went to 27-year-old Bamford who received a perfect 10.00 for his showing.
