Saturday’s Yorkshire Derby with Huddersfield Town turned into a great day for Leeds United fans, and for more than one reason.

With four wins on the spin more than helping us to make up ground on West Bromwich Albion in the battle for top spot, goals from Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford returned another three points to make it five on the spin and it restored our position in top spot, with a one point advantage.

There’s also the run of clean sheets to consider, but with plenty of positives coming from the game, Jack Harrison was once again statistics website Whoscored’s big winner on the day as he took their star man award for his performance, and earned a rating of 8.13.

Completing the top five best performers on the day in their system were Luke Ayling (7.78), Stuart Dallas (7.57), Pablo Hernandez (7.55) and Liam Cooper (7.54).

Extra mentions for Gaetano Berardi and Patrick Bamford who also earned themselves a plus seven score from the day.
