*On this day in 1964. Leeds clinched promotion to the First Division with a 3-0 win at Swansea thanks to goals from Alan Peacock (2) and Johnny Giles.

**On this day in 1970, Leeds and Chelsea drew 2-2 in the FA Cup Final at Wembley. Mick Jones and Jack Charlton were on target for Leeds but a late error by goalkeeper Gary Sprake meant the game would go to a replay.

***On this day in 1992, Leeds moved a step closer to their first league title in 18-years with a 3-0 win over Chelsea.
